The honesty backstop

Status & disclosures

The plain facts about what exists today, and what doesn't. No legal text, no marketing — just the record.

Own Your Algorithm is not yet an operating standards body. As of this page's publish date, no entity has been formed, no board has been seated, no standard has been ratified, and no assessor has been accredited. No company has been certified.

What exists today

One thing exists.

  • A published draft direction for the standard and its governance model — this website.

What does not exist today

Everything else is not yet built.

  • Legal registration of any OYA entity.
  • An independent board.
  • Accredited assessors.
  • Any issued certificate.
  • Any conformance decision.

Read it plainly

No claim on this site is an operating claim.

No claim on this site should be read as OYA operating, verifying, or certifying anything today. See the draft standard and the planned governance structure for what is being designed, not what is running.
